Make your own pretty hair bow
The school holidays are upon us, so why not get in the stuff you need to make this absolutely gorgeous ribbon hair tie, a sort of modern day Easter Bonnet. Kids just love to make things for their mum, and this lovely project, designed by Mama Bryna, specially for dadcando, is suitable for any age. All you need is a few lengths of different coloured ribbon and a small elastic hair band. It couldn’t be easier or more fun to create something so nice and useful.

Design your own paper shirt greetings card
If you don’t fancy making ribbon tie, how about designing your own shirt as a greetings card? Come the Easter holidays, the kids will be home or staying with you, and looking for something to do, so one evening or one rainy afternoon, why not learn how to make these simple paper shirts and then colour them with your own designs. A gorgeous Dragon’s Egg: A really different Easter project
Talking of Easter and the holidays, if you’ve done the shirts and you’d like to do something else with your kids, a bit more egg related, which will be both memorable and interesting, that won’t cost the earth, then what about a bit of egg painting - egg painting with a difference, that is.
