I made this for one of the older girls at my daughter's daycare who likes wood sprites better than wizards. I used spare amethyst chips, package twine (painted to match) and left over cheap dyed feathers. Unfortunately, it ended up a little... wonky along the length.

your wands are great, i especially like nr 3! Looks so elegant, like it would be Voldy's wand when he was in school or maybe Lucius :) Great idea with the suede!

I love this, especially the use of a new material for the handle, and that scroll detail is absolutely gorgeous.

I found the hardest thing with the scroll work was trying to keep my hand steady while applying the glue. After awhile my hand started cramping and I think if I had to do it for any length of time beyond one wand I'd probably go cross-eyed, heh.

that's really nice, I like the feathers and perhaps you could call this Tonks' or Luna's wand, I'm sure that their wands would be a bit wonky at the end
Although a single mum, I'm relieved that my daughter (now 5) has the benefit of her father and I still being very good friends.
Reading, writing, crafts and figuring out what insane thing my daughter is going to attempt next.
